Korean Bioplastics Association (KBPA, www.kbpa.net) presented application technology for bioplastic industry at ‘21st Korea International Plastic & Rubber Show (KOPLAS 2011),’ which’s held in KINTEX, Goyang, Korea, from September 28 to October 1.

KBPA was established as an affiliated corporation of Ministry of Knowledge Economy, by expanding and reorganizing Korean Biodegradable Plastics Association, and is recently focusing on developing application technology within bioplastic industry for keeping pace with ‘green growth,’ a core governmental policy of Korea.

Through the exhibition, KBPA is displaying products of their members and pursuing to help understanding of people and to increase attention in bioplastic.

Meanwhile, ‘21st Korea International Plastic & Rubber Show (KOPLAS 2011)’ hosted by Korea E & Ex and Korea Plastics Processing Machine Industry Cooperative is a total show covering from eco-friendly industry, new materials to various applied industries such as next generation core technology on plastic, processing machinery such as catapults and extruders, automation solutions, mold, printing, IT, auto, medical equipments and architecture etc.

‘KOPLAS 2011,’ co-held with ‘2011 Korea Industry Fair’ launching this year first, has ‘Be with Plastics for Smart World’ as its main theme and related conferences on bio plastic and state-of-the-art materials.
