Seoul Commtech (representative Jung-Mook Kim, www.scommtech.com), an affiliated company of Samsung, announced it’s going to supply ‘Samsung EZON Door Lock (model name: SHS-5120)’, its digital locking system, to 751 houses in complex 1 & 2 of Athlete’s Apt. for ‘The 13th World Championships in Athletics’, which is going to be held in Daegu.

Through this door lock, which adopts touch screen, entrance is available with credit card, and key tag as well as password, according to preference of foreigners who put importance on credibility. Users can also use remote control for opening the door from inside, which’s a very convenient function.

Particularly, it’s equipped with cutting-edge functions for entrance by verification process through NFC (Near Field Communication), when smart phone is registered on door lock.

Meanwhile, Seoul Commtech is expanding digital door lock market for overseas, such as China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, i.e. signing a contract reaching a million dollar with local distributors in USA, Canada, and Mexico, in ISC-West held in the US in the beginning of this year.
