Eton Raptor Solar Charger with All-Terrain Guidance Functions
Throw the Eton Raptor in your gear when you go camping or hiking and you’ll be able to do everything from guiding your way with a compass, to listening to NOAA weather broadcasts, even to charging your cell phone. The Raptor Solar Charger with All-Terrain Guidance Functions replaces the hand crank with a monocrystal solar panel with charge indicator. Guidance functions include an altimeter, barometer, and compass. In addition to the NOAA weather band radio, the Raptor has an AM/FM receiver with 10 preset stations for each. It has a chronograph and a digital alarm clock, and it has an audio input so it can act as an external speaker. It’s 2.875″ W x 8″ H x 1¼” D and weighs only 11.3 ounces. It has an 1800mAh rechargeable battery that powers all its functions, and it can also be used to charge a cell phone. Heck, it even has a bottle opener. The Raptor is available in black, orange, and green. It sells for $150 at Eton.
