LG Display and Amtran to set up LCD panel joint venture

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea’s LG Display Co Ltd and Taiwan’s Amtran Technology agreed on Monday to set up a joint venture in China to produce flat screen modules and manufacture TV sets for brand makers.

Microsoft to slash Xbox 360 price in Japan-Nikkei
