NEC to unveil IMS-enabled residential and business services at NXTcomm08

LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on ‘NXTcomm 2008′) — NEC unveiled ‘Light IMS’ (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) solution, a carrier-grade converged multimedia and SIP-based network architecture for residential and business services at NXTcomm 08 in Las Vegas.

IMS/NGN is more than a migration to an IP-based network; when fully integrated NEC’s IMS/NGN architecture can transform operator revenue structures by delivering new service propositions to end-users.
