Airvana to demo its CDMA femtocell supporting both 1x-RTT and EV-DO
LAS VEGAS, USA (AVING Special Report on ‘CTIA Wireless 2008′) — Airvana showcased its comprehensive solutions for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) at CTIA Wireless 2008, taking place April 1-3, 2008 in Las Vegas, NV.
In live demonstrations, the company is highlighting the HubBub(TM) CDMA femtocell, the only femtocell to support both 1x-RTT and EV-DO services; the Universal Access Gateway (UAG), a convergence gateway for innovative femtocell or Wi-Fi-enabled FMC services; and the Femto Service Manager, which provides standards-based, highly scalable management and auto-configuration capabilities for femtocell deployments.
